The Author page serves two purposes. First, this is how you get an account with Net Storyboard. Just fill in the blanks and you are ready to go.

Second, it allows existing users to change information related to the owner of the data. Data elements are Name, Alias, Email Address, and Phone Number. The Alias appears at the top of the outline on the Explorer page and at the top of all web pages displayed during playback.
